Secret Layer Light

Secret Layer lets you encrypt your data and then hide that encrypted data in ordinary images, like the ones used every day on all websites and email attachments. Secret Layer very slightly tweaks the color of specific pixels. You can't distinguish the altered photo from the original one.

Any time you transfer an encrypted file to someone by email, Skype, or another method, anyone on your network can see that you're transferring something encrypted. But when you hide your data in a image, to everyone else it looks like you're uploading another photo to the web, just like billions of other people.

1 - Batch process a series of files; 2 - Hide a heavier file inside several images.

Change the name of the Lite version to 'Standard Edition' - Lite implies free.

You only offer jpg in the Pro version - this is the most common image format used so why not add it to the light version as well.

Please quote the amount of data that can be hidden in an image. You say unlimited for the Pro version, but I'd like to know how much for the light version.

Be able to encrypt into any image format not just .png, .gif and .bmp (plus .jpg in the Pro version). Very limited scope for using image formats

Too much of a disparity between the price of the 'Lite' and 'Pro' versions - reduce the Pro version by at least 50%

Combine the light and Pro versions - Security software shouldn't come in two flavours.

Hello... How about automatically resizing the container picture so as to accomodate the file that you want to hide... Thanks !

... In this way the user does not have to worry about finding a large picture to hide the document.

Include the ability to access this program from anywhere on a home network so that I only have to install it once on my main computer.

Place links to the hiding tutorial and extracting tutorial in the help menu and not on the main GUI. Leaves the GUI looking untidy

Have a portable version with user PIN or password. This way, only those with the software and PIN/password can access the hidden file.

Apart from pictures add support for hiding info and files in audio , documents, tags.

Hiding in pictures is easier to find than hiding in music and documents. Plus add support for more picture formats, audio formats. Provide more algorithms for hiding info as what to change- intensity, colors etc and how to change.

PGP key attached to the images. That might be even better than password encoding.

Instead of placing two buttons for expert and wizard on the main GUI either place them in tabs with the expert tab showing as the main GUI, or remove the wizard button and place it on the experts GUI. This would tidy up the appearance
